Your home deserves nothing but the best that is why I started Murphy’s Painting, to make sure all of my client’s get the most professional and reliable service.
I started out painting when I was 22 and realised soon after that it was something I had a deep passion for. I knew in time that I would love to establish my own business and after moving from Co. Wexford to Co. Offaly I finally decided to take the plunge into self-employment.
Painting isn’t just giving something a lick of paint, it requires preparation, patience and a keen eye for detail to achieve the top quality finish that our clients expect and deserve.
In my experience a good quality job lasts longer and as the saying goes “You pay peanuts and you will get monkeys"
We are here to help, with experienced insight into different paint types, brands and colours, we strive to complete each job to all of our clients satisfaction!

Murphy‘a Painting and Decorating just completed painting the downstairs of our house and we are thrilled with the result. Lewis suggested the colours, which we might not have chosen on our own, and they suit the rooms perfectly. He was very particular in everything he did and his painting skills are top notch. He prepared and filled where necessary before painting and the finish is excellent. He also cleaned up every day before he left which was an added bonus. He is a very nice young man and the ultimate professional and we wish him all the best with his business.
Firstly, Lewis is a great fella to deal with, secondly, he is a great painter and decorator too. His crew and himself are careful and considerate, and turn out an exceptional job. We couldn't be more pleased with the job he did for us, which was two rooms on the quick just before Christmas. We were so pleased we got him back for another smaller room just a couple of days before Christmas, he dropped everything to help us out. So professional, and it really matters to him that the customer is happy, I cannot rate Lewis Murphy highly enough. Would I get him to do more work for us, absolutely, Thank you so much!!!!
